Critical Acclaim for other productions of Who’s Holiday:
“In Matthew Lombardo’s one-woman show, Cindy Lou Who is all grown up — and she isn’t quite the adorable child you remember from Dr. Seuss’s classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Chronicling the years that have passed since Cindy caught the Grinch in her living room, Lombardo’s seventy-minute comedy, spoken entirely in rhyming couplets, is a comic tour de force.” —Carey Purcell, The Village Voice

“… a comical riot, shining with moxie-laden tastelessness and irreverence. [Cindy Lou] engages front row audience members, sings with gutsy verve and even raps a bit. After an hour of lunacy, a sweet, sentiment ending is added, sending audience members off with a warm smile and probably exhausted from laughter.” —Michael Dale, Broadway World

The Saint Everybody’s Non-Denominational Universalist Church is having their annual Multicultural Interfaith Holiday Variety Show and Christmas Pageant on the eve of a blustery winter storm

Many of the acts have been stranded, so the evenings hosts (the Saint Everybody’s Ensemble) scramble to still put on the best holiday variety show they possibly can! Preparing their own versions of the scheduled acts like The Snowmen, The Swingle Sisters Jingle Singers, The Kwanzaa Concert Caravan, The Muslim-American Ramadancers, Cirque du Sleigh, and the Billy Barty Ballet Company, to name just a few.

The three hosts and their snarky stage hand “Gladys” will have you rolling in aisles with laughter as they try to pull off this entire holiday show on their own!

Directed by Mariangela Saavedra, and starring Kate Bianco, Jim Broyles, Stephanie C Kernisan, and featuring Alex Sutherland as “Glady’s”, come and see what fun can be had when three comedians do their very best to pull off a multicultural holiday variety show all by themselves!

You won’t want to miss it!

John Timothy Apice

John Apice

I was born on July 26, 2005. Jerry was born a minute before me. Having a twin, a hermit crab, two dogs, two guinea pigs, a fish and a tortoise, it gets pretty fun. Being a professional actor, I have been in 3 plays, 1 movie, 1 Youtube Movie, 1 commercial, 1 web series, and 4 musicals. Being a twelve year old 7th grader is actually pretty interesting. In the past year, I have improved my sing, dancing, and acting skills and have learned to put my foot behind my head! 😀

M Vlam

M has gone by many names (trust them, there’s a lot) and has been in multiple productions in many different locations. Dear Chuck is their third Casabuena Cultural Productions show, and it certainly won’t be their last.  They love acting, annoying their friends, making new names for themselves, and singing songs as loud as they can with no warning.  They’re excited to play random character #13 in this show as well as many more in the future.  They, as well, thank you for reading their bio.  They wrote it in about four minutes.

Other than Casabuena she participates in her high school’s fall play and EST (the school’s student run improv club/yearly show.) She loves to perform and is so thankful that there are places like Casabuena that give younger actors this opportunity and experience. Besides performing she also loves her cats: Mimzy and Puddin’ Divine, art, poetry, and takis. A special thanks to all of you for coming out to support us, to my parents for supporting my efforts, and to Sophia for hauling me to and from practice most of the time.
