Directors Log #2- Witches Witches Witches

Now we all know you can not tell the story of MacBeth without witches. They started the whole bloody mess after all! Without them, who knows how the story might have gone? But alas, they did interfere and thus have a huge role in the telling of this tragic tale.

In MmmBeth we have Haggy, Naggy and Twit. They mean well, but are always seeming to miss the mark when it comes to prophecies really. I mean who can really trust a Magic 8 Ball after all.

What impresses me most about my witches is their commitment to the improv lines they have added and how easily they go with the flow when another actor tosses them something new that was unscripted. With the ease of a seasoned professional they don’t miss a beat and remember to bring as much funny as they are dealt! It has been a great pleasure to work with these talented young ladies and I look forward to seeing what the audience has to say about them after they see the show!
